Cash Anthony is an optioned, award-winning Houston screenwriter, a producer/director of short films, and a prolific author of fiction and non-fiction, with short stories in two best-selling collections and in all fifteen Final Twist anthologies. She has been editor of the last eight anthologies by the Final Twist and has written ten novels featuring detective Jessie Carr, biker chick/avenging angel. Cash holds a B.A. in Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from UT School of Law. This year, she serves as president of the Final Twist.
Leif Carl Behmer received his MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Texas–Pan American and his Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of Houston–Downtown. His passion for fantasy fiction stems from his exposure to fantasy in both classic fairy tales and the fantasy role-playing genre of the video gaming industry. He teaches high school English in Lamar CISD and writes poetry as well as short stories.
Mark Phillips grew up reading the classics—especially James Bond novels, Greek mythology, and Batman comics. Mark’s short stories have appeared in multiple anthologies over the years, and his longer works include Yeats Alley, a heart-warming coming-of-age novel; The Ness & Guthrie Blues, a music-infused, first-contact science fiction novel; The Resqueth Revolution, a horror/science fiction novel; and Hacksaw, first in the Eva Baum mystery series, co-written with his wife Charlotte Phillips. He holds a BA from the University of Illinois and an MA from Northwestern University, both in Philosophy. Mark used to teach pre-calculus and political philosophy at Houston’s Bellaire High School but is now ecstatically retired.
Charlotte Phillips is a novelist and short story writer. She grew up in Allentown, PA, and lived in Florida and California before settling in Texas. She holds a B.S. in Marine Biology and an M.S. in Management, Computing, and Systems. With her husband Mark H. Phillips, she writes the Eva Baum mystery series. Her short stories have appeared in seven Final Twist anthologies and in a stand-alone collection, Demented Dreamspell.
