Jazmina Barrera will be in conversation with Roberto Tejada.

Jazmina Barrera was born in Mexico City in 1988. She was a fellow at the Foundation for Mexican Letters. Her book of essays Cuerpo extranŢo / Foreign Body was awarded the Latin American Voices prize from Literal Publishing in 2013. She has a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing in Spanish from New York University. She is editor and co-founder of Ediciones Antiělope. Two Lines Press published her English-language debut, On Lighthouses, in 2020. She lives in Mexico City.

Roberto Tejada is Distinguished Endowed Chair in Art History at Southern Methodist University. He is also the founder and co-editor of the journal Mandorla: New Writing from the Americas and the author of Exposition Park.
